Odisha: Fire accident kills three sisters in their Malkangiri home
The police suspect an LPG cylinder explosion caused the blaze.

Three sisters were burned to death in Odisha’s Malkangiri district on Wednesday after a fire broke out in their house in Mauligudi Sahi village. Authorities are uncertain about what set off the fire, but they suspect it was caused by an LPG cylinder explosion.
The blaze began while the girls’ brothers had gone out to carry out the last rites of their father, who had died 10 days ago, according to the Odisha Sun Times. Firefighters reached the spot after local residents noticed the flames.
The police have sent the bodies of the three sisters for autopsy and an investigation is under way. The victims were identified as Amalu Rao, 20, Renuka Rao, 18, and Mangi Rao, 16.
