11 CRPF personnel killed during Maoist attack in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma district
Home Minister Rajnath Singh is taking stock of the situation.

At least 11 Central Reserve Police Force personnel were killed in an attack by Maoist fighters in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma district on Saturday. They belonged to the 219 battalion. Several others are believed injured. Chief Minister Raman Singh confirmed the news.
Inspector General Sundar Raj said that personnel were taking part in a road-opening exercise when they were attacked, The Indian Express reported.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he had spoken to Home Minister Rajnath Singh and asked him to take stock of the situation.
